stewed okra and tomatoes

Sweet tea to drink

and anything you think

 

Buttermilk pie for desert

Frozen to Gourmet...Fast

Willy likes good food but Willy especially likes good food when he can get great food done quickly.  This often means pulling the Michelina's frozen out of the freezer and putting a Willy touch on it and putting it on the table fast.

What do you think Willy means by putting his own spin to Michelina's?  Well, it could mean that Willy takes out a Penne with White Chicken Entree and then adding delicious bacon or ham to the entree.   This just adds another flavor that the family likes.   However, Willy often takes this same entree and fixes just as it says on the package and it is eaten with great appetites.  Usually their arre no complaints and good old Willy has morre time to play with the family.

Willy also likes Michelina's Tuscan Inspired Garlic Chicken with a little imitation crab meat.   Not sure why Willy likes to add other meats to the chicken entrees but it just spices up life...  Some say Willy is crazy but yet none of those turn down the food when Willy makes it his own Michelina's.

Make It Your Michelina’s is what they asked Willy to do and Willy is making it his.  Try one of the ideas above or you may want to try many more.  There are many combinations that you can try or you can use them just like they come.

You could try Franks 'n' Cheese if you like this then you might want to follow up the next day with a lighter menu of Lettuce Wraps,     Then you can slip in another idea the next night with an Italian/ Mexican flair and try out some Lasagna Tacos,

Cajun Squirrel Stew

Willy believes that those Duck Dynasty folks would like this recipe.  Just need Ms. Kay to ad her spin to it.   10-4 Willy

Ingredients

Squirrels - cut into serving pieces, amount depends on how many you can eat

olive oil

1 large onion

1 large green bell pepper

2 cloves garlic~

Cajun spice (Tony Chachere's recommended)

2 tbsp Tabasco sauce

4 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp Gumbo File seasoning

cooked rice

Instructions
In a deep pot or dutch oven, heat some olive oil.

Season the squirrel on all sides with the Cajun seasoning.

Add to the hot oil and turn to brown on all sides. Continue to cook until done.

Place the onion, bell pepper and garlic in a blender. Cover with water and chop. Add to the pot when squirrel is done.

Sprinkle the added vegetables with Cajun seasoning.

Add the Tabasco sauce, ketchup and the Gumbo File.

Stir to mix well.

Serve over the cooked rice.

Enjoy.

President's Day

Willy was eating breakfast with a young 13 year old friend.  Willy asked her, "What day is the 20th of February?"

She said "It's President's Day!"

She is a smart kid.

Willy asked "What does President's Day mean?"
 
Willy was waiting for something about Washington or Lincoln… etc.

She replied, "President's Day is when President Obama steps out of the White House, and if he sees his shadow we have one more year of unemployment."

You know, it hurts when hot coffee spurts out your nose...
