Willy Cooks with TABASCO® Original Red

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

Willy likes to cook and Willy likes to spice up food.  What is one of the favorite things that Willy uses to spice up and give an extra flavor to many of his recipes you ask?  Well that product is TABASCO® Original Red.  What is it that Willy likes about this?  Well, it is not about the heat just for heat.  It is more about what the heat does to the flavor of the food.  They take a simple combination of salt, red pepper and vinegar and take it through a 3-year aging process that produces a great hot sauce with a wonderful ability to get the most out of most any food that you put the sauce on.  Other hot sauces add their own specific flavor to food. TABASCO® Original Red simply enhances the flavor of food.

Some of the things that you might want to check out on this wonderful sauce is Pizza Perfected which gives a great way to get a great pizza using TABASCO® Original Red.  Remember also that we are in the peak of the football season and the Super Bowl will be coming soon.  What about the ideas that you may find to enhance your Game-Day Party MenuTABASCO® Original Red  should be a part of this menu.

Also, Willy likes a great chili recipe that he has included below that includes TABASCO® Original Red

You might like this and add it to your menu.

HILLBILLY WILLY CHILLLY - CHILI !

A unique blend of meat, spices and other ingredients found to be a favorite in the foot hills of the Ozark Mountains in Northern Arkansas. This unique blend and variations of it have been discovered, along with other unique recipes, to be in the pots on stoves of Grandma's kitchens as well as in the boiling pots at Deer camps throughout Arkansas by a Texan misplaced by the job market from Texas to Arkansas.

Cook in large pot until meat loses its red color............
3 pounds GROUND CHUCK OR ROUND or a 50-50 mix of CHILI MEAT and GROUND DEER MEAT.
ADD.............................

1 large ONION, chopped
1 Tbsp MINCED GARLIC

When onions are tender,
add............................ …

1 Tbsp SALT
4 Tbsp CHILI POWDER
1 tsp GROUND OREGANO
2 tsp ground CUMIN
2 cups HOT WATER
2 10 oz cans SNAPPY TOM
3 Tbsp of TABASCO® Original Red

I add for the Texas taste...... 3 finely chopped JALAPENO PEPPERS OR IF YOU DARE USE HABANERO PEPPERS!

Simmer, covered, at least 3 hours. Add more water if necessary.

Best of you and your fine dining.  Thanks

10-4 Willy

I'm with you on the pepper and the Tabasco. Love them both. We eat Jalapenos all the time. I can't eat breakfast without Tabasco. I'll pass on the Habaneros though. Way too hot.

Have a terrific day Willy. :)
